Hello everyone,
Is there a way we can simply click import scene...without it going thru a conversion
I am trying to import a scene into another project...and as soon as I click import scene, it automatically goes thru conversion...and I'm curious why

Re: import scene
Put you scene you want to move on the "Clipboard", Go to the project you want to move it to and import it from the clipboard. No conversion required unless you are using different format video scenes or different format projects.

Re: import scene
Lex,
From your phrasing it sounds like you are using Clipboard.
The only reason it would require a conversion is if you have the Project you are moving/adding the Scene to is set to a different format (aka: SD versus HDV or visa versa).
As long as you are using Clipboard to move a Scene from one Project to another that has the same settings it does so instantly with zero conversion process or time.

At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.

Re: import scene
Thanks, Tim...I found out soon enough that every empty project needs to be set to the same format.
and by the way my previous problem with "transition" is ok now. I had to do a complete reinstall of SE-9, after saving all my projects...and I've recorded them all back to the Solitaire with no problem whatsoever

Good to hear it was an OS install glitch and not an ongoing bug.
