drop outs help
Hi guys , problem . I have a consumer hd sony camera using hd quality tapes . Viewing the footage on the camera I dont have drop outs. Feed the tape in to my Renomee and I get drop outs sometime up to 15 per hour. Now the big problem is that it drops a video frame but the audio appears to stay in tact so things get out of sink real quick.. Do you think that this is because the renomee has to downgrade the footage before I can work on it.As this is where it seems the problem lies. Remember the footage is ok on the camera and in sink.

Re: drop outs help
try playing the tape in another player.
depending on how you are using the footage, can you insert some b-roll over the dropouts?
