Moire Effect Problem

Post by TerryPowell »

Hi folks,

Just posting a problem for my uncle who is using the Bogart SE 6000 unit, and is having some issues with video quality. In the 'preview' mode, when playing edited or unedited video, the picture is fine, has no problems and is in HD 1080i quality. However, when the project is rendered, and then previewed or burned to disc, there seems to be a 'moire' effect (interference pattern like blurred lines) that is very noticeable.

We've tried to play around with settings, effects, etc. but can't seem to fix it. This issue only seems to occur after the video is rendered/burned to disc.

Thanks in advance for any help.
