What ever happened to Scott 'Birdy' Vicek?

There was a discussion on 'cassie-tips list' recently and Birdy was mentioned about how his tutorials were really great. here is what I posted:
[Speaking of 'Birdy", does anyone know what happened to him or what he's doing since getting let go at MS@Boulder CO? I remember Jorg paid for him & his family to attend a MGT( '05 or '07?) and from there he had offers to help start a website - like Chet's - to continue to make videos on how to use the software. I think after the MGT he basically walked away from everytthing and wouldn't respond to emails or ph. calls.
