Canon XH-A1
I cannot seem to record HDV out of my Prestige and onto tape in my Canon XH-A1. I was told to set the camera DOWN CONVERT to Off, and to set the Prestige at "swapped." Doing these things did not help. Is the Casablanca system not compatible with Canon HDV?

Make sure you are set to HDV. If you changed the menu while the firewire is attached, the editing appliance will not work. You have to remove the firewire cable before you change the setting.
