When I power up my avio the only thing that happens is the green light comes on and I hear the fan. No start up screen, nothing. I have used 4 different scarts, different cables, different monitors...nothing happens. I have even hooked up a vga monitor in case a setting was changed, (I don't know if that option is even available on this machine). Does anyone have an idea as to what may be going on??

Re: Avio-not working
Always a case of elimination.
1. There are 2 scart sockets on the Avio, try both.
2. If there are input/output switches on the scart plug/adapter try both positions.
3. Check the monitor to ensure the correct video setting is used. Use a vcr or other known working device.
4. Carry out a FULL installation of the o/s
5. Panic could be hard drive or video board

Re: Avio-not working
Thanks Martyn, I've checked all the above. I'm going straight to Panic! I was hoping I had missed something.
