I have an S2000 with Bogart 3.2c
Went into Media Manager, Archives Video. I see my video from Storyboard.
My system see's the USB drive because I can successfully pull files from it.
When I get to the point that I click on Start Export I get this error message:

Error
An read/write error occured!
(2: can't guess output container from filename:
/tmp/extresman/1298275638435438_mount/error)

What the heck is that??

Tried 2 different drives - can import from them but no export to them...

Thank you for any help you can give!!

HD or SD video?
How is the drive formatted?
FAT32, NTFS, Ext3 ?

Bogart3 can read from external drives that are formatted in NTFS format. But it can not write / export to those drives.
This "bug" will be fixed with Bogart4.
Oops, sorry, it is not a bug, it is a feature. :D

SD video. Drives are formatted with NTFS.
I saw from another post that Bogart can't write NTFS, only read. I guess I'll have to wait or re-format a drive.
Thank for your response.

Thank you for your response. I'll format something to DOS until Bogart 4. Thanks again.

Be aware of the fact that only Ext3 formatted HDs are able to play
saved films without interruptions in WD-Player.(BogartSE 3.x)

FAT32 will split the film to 2GB parts causing interruptions when played.(BogartSE3.x & BogartSE 4.x)
With BogartSE 4.x you may use also NTFS formatted HDs for uninterrupted playing of exported films.

The program Store'n'Share is able to format HDs in Ext3.(Or programs in PC)
All this said when saving HD-Films from Project--->StB saving--->HDV--->ext. harddisk
