New software expansion overview online

Post by Volker »

Hello,
I put a new list online that shows all add-on software products that are available for the Casablanca editors.

The downloadable PDF document contains a current overview of software with details on version numbers, demo-capability, storage required (on storage medium), any manuals and SD/HD compatibility for both Smart Edit and Bogart SE.

The list is valid for PAL users but the differences to the NTSC version(s) should be minimal.

Volker--

Thanks for your Software Expansions list. I found it interesting. In checking your categories against my latest Macro System US printout of software on my Renommee, I found a couple of surprises.

Caladan was missing. I use this program frequently and hope will be available for my S-4000 Pro.

VME Compact 50 and VideoTasteBox 30 (which I do not recognize) were also purchased software not on your list.

Can you or perhaps Chet Davis clarify these differences?

Sorry, I just forgot to add Caladan to the list because it currently is not available.

VME compact 30/50 and Video Taste Box were cost-free- or bonus software products in some of the countries. In some contries those products have never been released at all. So I did not add those to the list yet.

Thanks for the update. You have relieved my mind regarding Caladan.

We in the UK would be very willing to accept those as freebies ;)

Hi Volker,
many thanks for the list. Now I can see what is possible with BogartSE in SD or HD projects.
Would be very nice of you also adding a list of all ProClubBonus software.
Many thanks in advance. ;)

Hello Hans,
our Pro Club software add-ons have not been released in all countries.
So it would confuse many people to see products such as "WinterX CE" or "SplitX CE".

But I think you can use all of those products with Bogart SE in SD and HD though the images of WinterX and SplitX come in SD resolution.
