Re: Audio out of sync
I don't work with cardreader importing to my S-4000Pro,
so I can't recommend one.
When you imported to PC you used same cardreader or imported via cam?
Let's see if the import is sync when using the cam to USB-Rec of S-4000?

Re: Audio out of sync
The PC has a built in card reader. I will try to import using the Kodak Card reader through the usb port.
All good things to try

Re: Audio out of sync
OK, this would be worth a try.
But since you know PC is importing real-sync it's a timewasting experiment.
What you really want to know is if the cam import will solve the non-sync-problem via import to S-4000Pro

Re: Audio out of sync
Tried to load through the it load but out of sync. I am trying the apple I will be able to use imovie I think to do the job. Very disapointed with the 4k unit it worked fine with SD and tape via firewire. Thats with my old cameras. This new camera doe not have firewire or tape. I am using the back usb port, I will try to get the front one to work.

Re: Audio out of sync
I did not understand your reply
You have tried to import from cam to S-4000 and still not sync
When you try to import only use one of the backward USB connections.
The cam record settings are for "2-channel stereo" or "Surround"?
Maybe S-4000 can't decode import of surround?
Which Bogart version?

Re: Audio out of sync
I use the back usb connection to import from card or camera. Today I will try another cable in the back and tryto get the front usb port (hidden) to work. The canera imported into the apple and looks fine but I can't get it to burn to dvd as it is 2hours and 40 min long. I use bougart 3.2c as I read there is problems with 4.0.

Re: Audio out of sync
Bill,
today I made a test if I could confirm the existence of your sync-problem.
I recorded with my Sony HDR-XR520 1 hour and 24:13 seconds.
Every 5 minutes I have set lip-sync marks speaking directly into cam objective.
I then imported via (backwards) USB to my S-4000Pro to HD-Project
Setting--->Display during HDV recording--->No
AVCHD shorten IN--->0:00:00
AVCHD shorten OUT--->0:00:00
Single scene import--->Setting check marks
4 scenes were imported.
Scene 1-2-3 have a lenth of 16:30:00 mins
Scene 4 has a length of 11:46:15 mins
Then I checked all sync-marks. Results: All is in sync
Adding the scenes to storyboard and checking resulted as before: All is in sync
I use Bogart 4.1c
Sorry, can't confirm your sync problem

Re: Audio out of sync
May be it has something to do with the new camera. I tried to load via rca jacks and it is still out of sync. I am loading via rca jacks to the avio and the sync problem doesent seem to be there. I had another call from a studio about the audio out of sync. I have settting display off but it still shows on my monitor.
