Upgrading Prestige drive
I have just installed a Maxtor 320 Gb drive in a new sled. (I realize only 250 will be recognized.) It meets your published spec recommendations for hard drives. I inserted it into the Prestige. Now what? I have Smart Edit 7 but only a CD installation disk. Do I need a SmartCard? I turned all of mine in to MacroSystem.

Re: Upgrading Prestige drive
With a Prestige you must use a SM Card with the OS on it to format a brand new drive.
My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

Once again, Tim, thanks. Do you know if I can get the Smart Card directly from MacroSystem or do I have to find another dealer?

I believe you can go either way.
To contact MSUS or find a dealer, check here: http://www.macrosystem.us/newindex.cfm? ... ntent=true
