I have an old Renommee And I have a hard drive in it that won't unlock to remove! Any help available?

Is there no key Or does the key turn around and the drive is still stuck

There is a key and it come ii and out but it won't turn! I am stuck with one Hard drive till I can get it fixed!

If the key goes in and out, but won't turn to the left - that's the wrong key If you have multiple hard-drive drawers, every one has it' own, individual key.
Take a look at the lock and the key. They both have a number - and these must be the same (at least three digits. If I remember right, there are also keys with four digits, and locks with three. So the last three must be the same.)

If you turn the machine on its side you can (gently) get a flat blade screwdriver in the small slot underneath and prize it out.
If you have several drives and don't need the locking function you can saw off the tab that is sticking out at the bottom once the caddy is removed.

The number on the key and drive match! Its going to be a pain to get it on its side but I guess I'll wait till I have to replace the DVD burner. I have been ejecting it with a opened paper clip for a year! I have several drives but only 3 carriers!
