PS 2 keeps 'crashing' I im,port photos and when click on 'Sort' or 'Edit' they crash. HELP

PhotoStudio 2 and 3 don't like pictures >8 MByte or 8 MegaPixel 
The third-party manufacturer of PhotoStudio is out of business and MacroMotion does not sell PhotoStudio 2 since 2009.
The stable replacement with much more features is QuickPhoto-2, shown HERE.
