Split scene and trim Bogart 11.5 Pro

Post by Christopher6206 »

I've been trying to split and or trim a clip in Bogart 11.5. I'm noticing this little box pops up with 2 opposing arrows and a line between them with a dot in the middle, and as I move that dot to the right and left the clip starts to trim itself slowly or quickly depending on how far the dot is to the right or left from the middle. What is this? I can't work with this. I like being able to scroll through under my own control, with the trackball. There is no control here. What is going on? On the split scene screen (advanced) I have to hold down the button while I'm rolling the track ball. Did not have to do that before and now it's harder. If I use standard split scene then back comes the little box with 2 opposing arrows.

I want my split scene and trim to work like it used to. Please tell me how to do that. Thanks.

Got it. Changed User Interface from automatic, to Trackball.
