I purchased a 500 Gig LaCie Quadra model # 301110U last month, figuring that if I couldn't use it with my Kron Plus I could use it with my PC. The Kron did not recognize the Quadra no matter what sequence I turned things on. I tried the firewire 400 interface with two different 4-6 pin cables. So I guess it becomes part of the PC side of things.

Hi Craig,
FW-HDs for use with casablanca machines SE6/SE7 have to be formatted FAT32 to be compatible.
So your FW-HD has to be reformatted from NTSF to FAT32.

Just interested is your Lacie model #301110U equipped with both a firewire and USB connector?
