No Blu-ray menus

Finally trying to use blu-ray and it lets me set up menus and burns fine, but when I place them in my player, I can only pull up the file and play it. There is no access to the menus created and can't even advance by chapters, only via fast forward. I am using the new Arabesk 6. Is this possibly a firmware issue that I need to update on my burner (not sure which burner as I am at my house now, not the office)?
