Import a Casablanca DVD using MM ?

I've a Arabesk created DVD which will only play in Media Manager in Ksebara its No Disc in Drive or No Files Found so can i import to a empty project using MM

Going to answer my own question,first put said disc in drive change to MM select Archives then select (OPT) and you have a range of options number 2 is import from DVD which it does but can find no way to export to the Bogart side.

You should be able to use Archives (on the main menu) in Bogart to transfer the footage out of MM and into your project (check the films audio carefully after import).

Thanks Michael why you're browsing any reason when importing a Arabesk DVD in the Bogart side it only imports 23 minutes of a 27 minute film does the same in MM it's a NTSC disc but the 23 minutes plays no problem

Sorry no . . . does the 27 mins play on your DVD player ?

Yes but have progressed imported the disc into MM from Bogart then went to Archives and it again only showed 23 minutes but selected import waited till imported but this time it showed 23 min and a 4 min scene which was the missing part don't ask how but now have the full film

Must have been a 2Gb / 4Gb file issue - thought that was to do with the format of the hard drive (as in FAT 32/ NTFS etc) so still not sure why "it" did that . . .

It was the internal drive of the 6k. How would i find out how that drive was formatted? and what should it be formatted as?

That's why I'm not sure of the actual issue - you normally get that on 'external' drives, didn't think the internal one would have that issue . . .

One thing that did surprise me was the fact the disc was NTSC and we're Pal yet the disc played ok in MM and also played from the scene bin is Bogart now converting between formats i don't think so but why did it play?
