Recording DVD files to Bogart Windows

When I record a DVD file from my PC harddrive

into Bogart it comes out shaking, especially titles & stills.If I download an AVI file it is ok. Do I have to convert the MPEG2 files to AVI?

AVI IS A WRAPPER...not a codec. Convert to MP4. You will be fine.

Lou, what program do you use for converting AVI to MP4, and how much is it?
