I have a S4000 Pro that I am going to trade in for a discount on software for my B4W setup. I even have my first Cassie, the AVIO that I am going to hook up. Not sure what I will use it for but I want to see it run again.

Video Input

Post by MikeMattke »

I have a laptop with Bogart for Windows installed. It has USB inputs and a HDMI input. If I want to input video from numerous sources should I purchase an adapter that goes through USB or HDMI? I found a HDMI adapter but I wasn't sure it would work. Will the Bogart software work in the Record window when using an adapter? Or do I first have to import using Moviemaker or some other capture software?

B4W will accept inputs through USB directly. Not sure on HDMI. Usually HDMI is an output not input but I don't know your machine so.....

B4W will see a USB device and import directly from it.

However, as Chris says, HDMI is normally an out - even so it's not (yet) considered as an editable format.
