Make sure PC hardware works in the free trial before buying

Bogart Windows 7 SW was written for the Casablanca 4 Studio's, so there is no guarantee your DV board is going to work.
In general, if the DV board works on the PC, it probably will work with our Bogart 7.1 Windows SW.
But best to check it in the free 30-day trial before buying.
With the project format set to DV or HDV, you should see a RECORD button in the main menu if your DV board is recognized.

If you skipped the above advice, and have already purchased, here are a few ideas to try:

To troubleshoot you need to find out who made the DV board, and ask that company for the latest driver for whatever Windows Operating System you are using.
So you need to find out what version of Windows 7, 8, or Vista you are running, and tell the DV board mfg.
If you haven't done the free Windows Update in a while, that is a good idea too.
Computer repair shops are good at this, and DV boards are cheap to install if they can't get the old one working.

CAUTION: it usually takes some time for dv board mfg's to write drivers for new OS's, so I would stay away Windows 10 until you are certain all your HW has W10 drivers for it.

The other Hardware to test when it comes to a full functioning Bogart Windows is the burner(s). If they don't work, they need to get the latest driver for that HW on that Windows version.

If you need a burner, your Bogart Windows dealer has an external LG USB DVD/BluRay burner that works real well:
