Yes Hal, all the Casablanca 4's have firewire ports, except the Travel Laptop and Touch Screen all in one.
So just plug in your DV Deck or Camera, and it will come right in. The recording menu controls either device, just like all the Casablancas before.

Most of the non Casablanca PC's today do not have a firewire card, so they would not work.

I hope that if the manual is a translation from the German, it is re-formatted from the A4 size page to the standard letter size 8.5 x 11.0 page size we use here in the U.S. If you print an A4 formatted document to our standard letter size the text and images become very small. This is what happened with the Bogart 7 manual.

Hi Gary
The ones that have the pro with Bogard 7.2 what would be the upgrade and as I understand it will correct the unlocked audio problem.
