Studio Pro using Grass Valley ADVC-110

I purchased Grass Valley ADVC-110 to upload my mini DV footage and I can't see the rotate or device anyware in the Studio Pro I don't know what I'm doing wrong if anyone is using this method I would appreciate some help.

Others please chip in but I'm pretty sure you will have to 'capture' into the PC (Studio Pro) and then point Bogart 4 Windows at that file . . .

Make sure the Grass Valley switch is set to DV source input (not analogue). You should be able to go to the "video" screen in the Bogart main menu and select DV, then select the record screen, then you should have device control for playback, stop start etc....

Note: Under system settings located at the top you can select to have your DV scource footage captured as 4:3 or 16:9. I always set mine to 16:9.

Thanks I will try that today I did have it set to DV but their is a status led that never has come on not sure if that led supposed to when signal is being played , I will re check settings on the Studio Pro

I bought power supply and hooked everything up made sure input was on digital clicked on Bogar software for windows then play on camera and Record on Studio Pro but still could not get a image yet if I hook it up strait from camera FireWire to studio pro 1394 FireWire it does upload Can't figure out why.

Sounds like a bad converter
