Adjusting video noise or GRAIN in CB PAINT

Post by LouBruno »

Below is how the editor can reduce GRAIN in a video:

* Select the AREA with grain with the select tool,
* GO to the FX dropdown : Blur > Median Blur > mode Edge Double
* Use values between 1 and 5.

Special thanks to the folks at TV PAINT for helping me with the above advice to reduce grain in a low-light scene as well as normal video clips.

Lou:

Will this work with both CB Paint and CB Paint 2?

Thanks for the tip Lou. I used it today to clean up a low resolution image from the web. Worked great.

My pleasure. I am really enjoying the little "things" that CB PAINT can do. Example: The color correction is even better than photoshop.
