Camera compatability for S4000 Pro, 4.5c, Arb.5

Post by Montanamartin »

I have been using 3 sony FX-1s for the last 6 Years of doing Event Videography and in the last year we have spent over $1,000 on repairs which is normal. But now we have a chance to upgrade. The Fx-1s are 1080i and use tape, which has been fine with me. Friends are telling me to go to progressive. I know that the interlaced and the progressive can not mix in Quad Cam or in the same project. I would like to keep the FX-1s, and just have to purchase 1 new camera. Any suggestions?
