camera file format compatibility

Post by toothmagic »

Last sprng I bought a Canon Vixia H10 videocamera. It's "file format" was not consistant with the Bogart High Def editing system. I am looking to buy a new camera in the $2000-$4000 range. Can you recommend a camera that will have no problems loading into the bogart system?

Canon XA10 or the Canon XF100. I have used both. They are great cameras.

Casablanca Unit: S2000 with all software. I also have a Prestige that I used on my film transfer station. I have B4W loaded on a laptop. I have a S4000 Pro that I am going to trade in for a discount on software for my B4W setup. I even have my first Cassie, the AVIO that I am going to hook up. Not sure what I will use it for but I want to see it run again.

Just curious. What wasn't consistent with the Bogart HD system? I have a HF-S10 and it seems to be working.
