PLEASE HELP WITH Bogart 1.4e/2.1e BETA

after loading the software to my machine
on the lcd monitor it show some detail regarding the program
after that not a bit of movement , what am'I doing wrong?
when I scrowl down it shows [DR-DOS] A:\> with a flashing square

what next? please please help.

Hello Rob,

Not certain if this is your situation - but I am aware after full installation of the Bogart SE OS, some users have discovered the system display defaulted to a different display output. Do you have the option to switch over to one of the other/different outputs?

Did you do a distructive install or just an update?

Im unable to do anything at all it seems to me the software is not completly loaded to the seystem on something is misssing
when i boot up the machine it says COMPLETED CODE PAGE SELECT FUNCTION and so on....
From my point of view something is either missing or courupt. Anyway im going to try to download the file again tonight and i will report back
tommorow.

The file does tend to download incomplete fairly often so you need to check when you begin what the total size of the file is to compare it to the "finished" download.

On top of that you are downloading a beta file which MSUS specifically warned to do at your own risk.

I understand why people would be baited into doing so with Paul's glowing comments from his personal experience, but there are reasons why 2.1e is still an unapproved beta version.

It sounds like a incomplete download to me also. MS told me that it cured the drop frame issue and it does, that was the only problem I encountered with the old OS but which made my Pro totally unuseable. Why would the downloadable version be any different then what MS sent me, I've been using my Pro for the past week with no problems. So untill the Final Version comes along I'm a happy editor. Anyone else having a problem with the downloadable version?
