programs in Casablanca
Is there a rundown of what each program in a Casablanca Renomee does, what its for, etc? I see a program called Caladan, and I have no idea of what it can do. I would like to see a list of each and every one and its function. Thanks.

Re: programs in Casablanca
My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

Re: programs in Casablanca
Is an Acrobat file for the Akaba that is meant for the Avio, Prestige and Kron going to be reasonably close to the file needed for the Renomee? I have downloaded several zipped files of software manuals for models other than the Renomee. Are these manuals usable for it? Thanks.

They are identical in use for all platforms, Jim

Re: programs in Casablanca
Jim,
As Tim pointed out - the manuals/guides for the add-on software apply to all Casablanca products that are capable of operating those software titles. Where there are exceptions they are noted in the text.
Another avenue you may wish to take, is to view the short demo video clips produced on some/many of the add-on software titles. You can access these short videos here:
http://www.macrosystem.de/e/downloads.html (scroll down about 2/3 down the page to 'Videoclips'.
These short videos highlight/demonstrate the capability of the specific software
NOTE: These videos are QuickTime files and require either the free Quicktime Player (or the QuickTime plug-in) both which can be downloaded for free here
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/player/
(you can skip the 'Pro' version and just employ the free player download).
Regards,
Chet

Re: programs in Casablanca
Ok, thanks Chet. I had been to that page and downloaded some of the manuals, which is why I asked that question yesterday. I am trying to get the videoclips to run today. Thanks again!

Re: programs in Casablanca
I tried to bring down videoclips to view, but they never appeared to be downloading. I went and ran a search for the files, and they could not be found in the machine. I don't know how to get them downloaded. With the manuals, it was easy enough to park the files somewhere that I could locate them later, but I don't know where the videoclips would have downloaded to in the computer. Ideas?

Re: programs in Casablanca
Hello videojim,
Do you have apples' Quick time player installed on your computer? As Chet mentioned in his post above the files are in Quick Time and you must have THAT installed first before you can have a place for them to download too and be played from.
It's free so just go to the Apple URL that Chet provided and get it into your system. You can't play a Quick Time file in the Windows media player it has to be Quick Time.
