MODEL TRAIN VIDEO

Post by LouBruno »

I made this video a few years back. The intro was done in CB PAINT and Candy Factory. This was a non-paying demo as a courtesy to the club which allowed my Photography Club the use of the facility. However, I never gave permission for it to appear on YOU TUBE and stumbled across it last week. Next time I will use a small camera for different angle shots on the rails and tunnels as well as a POV small camera in front of the locomotive. Whoever posted my work should have kept the aspect ratio of 16:9 as I used the CANON XL-2 in widescreen.

Hey Lou, have you seen the POV1? It would be great for the locomotive shot. A flatcar behind the locomotive could hold the solid state recorder. A few years age there was a train set out with a camera built into the engine and a little pinhole lense looking forward.

Actually. I have two AIPTEKS HD personal pocket cameras that use SD cards and was thinking of a flatbed car coupled in front of the engine if an engine has a coupling. The versatility of the "S"4000K shines in this respect as I can mix tape and solid state together.

Good action! Moving left and right, zooming in and out, gives it life. The engineer looking as the train moved might better be in a box in a corner, so you see what he sees, and show his hands on the controls as his hands move on them. This is good work.
