VERY nice ! Tanks.

Looks like a combination of Spicebox effects with Candy Factory... But some must have been created with CBPaint and Candy (rotating star), right ?

Nice CB PAINT stuff as well. Like the auto-signature at the end. Can you give us some insight on how you rotated some of the scenes? Did you also use HOTCAKES type of mattes?

Wow! You're a pioneer! Don't remember seeing anything that pushed boundaries like that on the Cassie since Jim Meeker did some stuff on the Avio that wasn't supposed to be possible :!: 8-)

The Candy Factory instructions (that are so bad they make poor quality instructions translated from Chinese look good) say that the mask can only be black and white, no shades of gray. This makes me think that you couldn't use Spice Rack. I don't own CB Paint so I'm not sure how it would be used. Maybe some layering and a transition using really long clips where an image spins on or off :?:

you can use the image processing effect "USB Color" for example to create a moving pattern in pure white color on top of a scene. Then use this result and add the Candy effect on top of it.

wow, there are thousands of possible effects... I am off, playing ... ;)

Candy Factory Samples #2
I used Lightwave 3D and CB Paint 2 to make the Masks.
All textures and art work was from the Archives from Candy Factory.
All My masks can be adjust for speed, size, and Placement with CB Paint.
The video clips was used with out proper selection due to making samples quickly.
Note: the Masks before adding the Candy Factory

Very creative Roger!

I liked how you showed the mask prior to the added effect - it allows the viewer to clearly see the process. In particular I enjoyed those music eighth notes.. fun!

Thanks for sharing this.

Chet

3 examples for Candy+Ultimate Spice Box:

http://www.macrosystem.de/downloads/secret/candy.mov

just create a black scene
then add "USB Mask" with the setting of your choice and render
create a "scene" of it and add it behind your video scene to the storyboard
add the Candy effect of your choice between the video scene and the USB animation clip and render

so with Ultimate Spice Box you can prepare and create the animations (use white on black!) then add Candy Factory ...
