I had the previledge of producing this video for a great music group called: CrossTies, based in Branson, MO. The video was shot entirely on location in Branson a month ago. I shot with my Sony EX1 and editied on my Renommee Plus in 16:9.

Nice work, Joel.
I believe you live in Texas, how did this gig come about for you?

Thank you Tim,
I met this group nearly 10 years ago and I produced their first music video before they moved to Branson. The first video is called" Family Reunion", it can be seen on my website.

Can you tell us of the different filters used? Twister ETC.
Very good composition and videography which complimented your outstanding editing.

BEAUTIFUL! I am guessing that you used some diffusion to soften this up, right? How did you do it? I have heard of a piece of hose pulled over the lens, but you might have some other ideas. Very touching piece.

I used 4 diferrent IP effect layers.
1. Bright
2. Ghost
3. Control Image 1 brightness=95%, contrast=125%, saturation=100-125%, gamma=-40
4. shinning on a few clips
5. DLP Slow Motion HQ setting
It was alot of work without the effect stacking feature that is available.
Thanks to all for the comments.

Yes Joel, Very good. What did you record the sound with. I have used studio recordings and had success, but the syncing was a pain. I like your editing style. Good Job. Bob...

Flvideo,
I used the full studio audio CD to import to the Cassie, then created a black empty scene to the exact length of the song, then added the song under the black clip, made a scene, then added each video clip via the insert mode after adding IP effects, then I trimmed each video clip to match the sync of the talent.
It was a very tedious job, but worth it.
I used a large battery operated boom box to play the soung in the field. For one scene, we backed up a car close to the talent with the trunk raised and played the CD from the stereo so the talent could hear the song loud and clear (very important).
