I stumbled across an air show fly-in last weekend. Luckily, I had my home camera (Canon HFS-11) in the vehicle. Nothing spectacular but the camera did a good job in HD.

Change the setting to HD via the small setting area in the lower right of the YOU TUBE download.
For the Intro, I used ANIM X lower third, coupled with Title Studio. The background was slowed-down via TWIXTOR.
The "FLY-IN" intro clip: Used CANDY FACTORY. The small plane going through the scene was done using COLUMBUS 3. I split the original title movement into three parts. Since Columbus only works on ONE frame (not like CB PAINT which does all), I made a short still from of one of the middle splits that had no movment. Then, I used a plane from Columbus and eliminated the route marking. I placed all of the splits together to condense into one scene. Next time, I will leave the still frame a little longer in length. Enjoy

Well done, Lou. Enjoyed the Bonanzas, especially since my father had a few, at different times. Always loved the V tail. Good work with the ambient sound, too. Did you strip any sound off a scene to use elsewhere? I didn't notice it, but if it is well placed, you won't. Good job!

Re: Air Show Fly-in/out
Yes, I did move around the audio a bit...I had no choice as some of the planes were in the distance. The first scene using Title Studio was actually sound from another plane. This video was an after thought. I was on a bike trip and stopped at the local airport in the morning. I grabbed my little travel HD camera and then started shooting the arrivals. I really did not expect this type of quality. As far as the editing, I just kept it simple but did use my balanced shots which I spent much time in doing. The Smoketown Airport even linked this video to their site. It was just one of those perfect days for shooting and excellent content for editing....did I mention fun as well.
