I produced this piece last week. First time I've had the opportunity to work with a real "on camera personality".
If you know any firefighters please pass this one on to them. Thanks!

Its the featured video titled "Talkin' MAFFC with Mike Brooks"

Hi Chris,

Not only do you look good in drag :D, but you make great videos.

I particulaly liked your excellent titles, and that rolling fireball in the right corner.

Nice work.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

One of the directors at CNN who Mike Brooks works for saw this piece and really liked it.
So who knows, maybe I'll get my foot in the door to bigger and better things.

Great job, Chris! Working with a real "on-camera personality" must have made it a bit easier for you. I'm curious, how did you get the footage of the inside of the trailer burning? How close were you able to get?

Up here in the City of Boston fire fighting is taken very seriously, with permanent structures built specifically for training. I know that your promo will help make the MAFFC a huge success.

Joel - Correct

Craig - I was able to get the shots through the doors that open at the back of the connex box. You can see one of the firefighters opening the door in one of the shots. I was right outside, really low to the ground because the heat was so intense. Didn't want to melt my Z7. I've actually gotten shots inside burn buildings wearing my firefighting gear, but that was with county government cameras. Not putting my personal camera in that kind of environment. ;)
