- Casablanca Unit: S6000 (40 software pkgs. from AkabaHD to Twixter) 2 OLD firewire Casablanca Classics (fully-loaded). Hoping eventually for the perfect camera (sometime before I die of old age). Sony 96GB HDR-PJ790. Several lighting & audio recording systems. A very old, 2006 MacPro tower 4TB hard drive & 30GB memory. More LCD monitors, TVs, tripods and misc. equipment then I want to admit to.

Re: New :60 Sec AD
Joel,
Nice work but I would have done one thing differently. I would have used a different font with a different layout. Something easy to read but with a 'signature' towards the ad. Softened shadow on the copy and made the background softer, (slightly out of focus) -- thus popping fonts in foreground. I would also have pushed lighting a bit to enhance the visual image(s) rather than using just available light. I liked your pacing, but would have curved the music/timing just a bit.
Nice work.
Gotta get me one of those HD 1080p camcorders!!!! DVcam sucks when watching HD 1080p footage...

Re: New :60 Sec AD
I did not use natural light. Yes, I used several lights for this production. You guys are right, I could have used a different font singnature like more of a country or BBQish "wood" or "nature" type of font. I used the font I generally use on my corporate & broadcast projects....
Thanks for the comments.

Re: New :60 Sec AD
Not trying to pick it apart....is it just me or are the highlights blown out beyond recovery. I agree with using a different font. Looks pretty good.

Re: New :60 Sec AD
I'm not sure where the "blown out" parts are. I use the EX1's zebra to set proper exposure. If anything, I generally shoot a bit dark for this very reason. Appreciate the thoughts & suggestions though.

Re: New :60 Sec AD
I really appreciate the comments & suggestions. I don't mean to sound defensive, just want to clarify any settings a few assumed I used...
