Hello Bill,
It can be perhaps deceiving -when you click on the PM (private message) Icon for a member, it opens up a message compose window. The persons name is in teeny tiny text up at the upper right (directly in line with the 'To:' field.)
You also have the option of finding a members info page by clicking on that member name and you can also send them an email to their registered email address.
