Very Hard Times

Post by IanPearson »

In light of the current world financial situation, a result of which my worth is some 30% down, from that of a few weeks back, does anyone know when the S2800 Pro/Am will be unveiled?

You mean the S2000? Looks like November for Germany, perhaps not too long after that for England. This link takes you to the German MS website announcement.

These changes may slow down the migration towards High Def.

OK, OK, so my attempt at late night humour may have been a little too subtle.

2,800 is 70% of 4,000 and the Pro/Am is a lesser version of the Pro, oh never mind, just forget it.

 Yes, that is subtle - and very funny! Perhaps I should be the one using the embarrased "smilie", but I'm laughing right now! That would mean that Retro 50X is now Retro 35X :?:

Ian,

I have you beat (in the wrong direction, sigh) and would need it to be an S2600P. :(

At this rate, I believe Craig's S2000P by November might be more accurate for me, if not the Avio. 8-)
My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

On the positive side you don't actually lose money on shares until you sell them, so if you hang on to them it is only a theoretical loss. Still sucks though.....
