Guys,
Not to put a damper on CMOS but do a GOOGLE about the ROLLING SHUTTER problem experienced on the new SONY CMOS 3-chip cameras. I will let you decide if this is a scary situation for the event videographer who is near a photo flash.
Apparently Canon and Sony make different chips.
