Converting Film to Video

Awhile back Jim Meeker posted some info re. transferring film to video. Using his guidelines I was able to transfer my 16mm, 8mm, and Super 8mm films to video.
Recently, COSTCO ran a special on their new offering of film to video transfer using Yes Video and their equipment. I decided to see how much bette my film would look, so I selected 150 ft of Super 8 and gave them a try. My wife & I scrutinized the video comparing the Yes Video with my dvd transfer and we saw very little difference - certainly not enough to redo the transfer.
Jim's method is a bit tedious but worth the effort if you have more time than money! Unfortunately, I did not keep the instructions.
