LCD Monitor or LCD TV

Post by CliffHawkins »

What would be the advantage of either an "Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP 24-inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor" that has anolog as well as digital connections compared to an 26-inch Vizio LCD tv with the same connections for use with the Cassie line of video editors? Apart from being able to get TV recption.

I have no experience with the DELL. However, I scrapped my VIZIO and purchased a true HD MONITOR made for editing. JVC DT-V20L1D. There is a 24" version called the DT-V24L1

There is a BIG difference in quality by using a PRO monitor. The color and contrast ratio are very important. Numerous inputs etc.
