On November 23, 2009 I launched a ‘Wish List’ sort of survey and invited Casablanca customers to share their thoughts and wishes. There were 51 responses from around the globe.
I have forwarded the results (a 10-page PDF document) on to the management at Macrosystem AG and the Casablanca distributors in the US, UK and Australia, in the spirit of continued collaboration and with constructive intent.
You can read the questions that were asked on my Casablanca Expert Blog here
CasablancaExpert.com website members can download and read the 10-page document here: Results of the December 2009 Casablanca Wish-List/Survey

Re: Casablanca Survey/Wish-List Results
Good to see that the responses have been forwarded. As I am not a member of Chet's group and made a comments contribution why should I be denied access to it? I am sure Chet's tutorials are good, but I do not fell the need for them. So, can I see the results of a survey I contributed to?

Re: Casablanca Survey/Wish-List Results
Read the whole thing. There were a lot of excellent ideas. Some of them I would never think of but more experiernce people that know other system know about. Lot of request for blue box world. One my bigest gripes is the graphic text. Most fonts and sizes I can't use because the tops of the letters are cut off.
Hopefully somthing with come of this which will make the system a cut above the rest.

No I can not read the whole thing. I have no access unless I join, which as I have said, I do not wish to.

Re: Casablanca Survey/Wish-List Results
Alan,
I happily invited all community members to contribute to the wish-list/survey with the purpose of passing the communication on to the parent company and the distributors. I took my time to create the survey, and to process the results. I paid (the modest fee) to host the online survey as well - and that's why I chose to make the results openly available to my website members.
But since my intention was one to facilitate the dialog and to make it a reward for members rather than punitive for non-members and since you _did_ contribute (and it was not made clear the results would only be for website members) I am happy to provide you with a copy of the results as well. Please send me your email directly to chet@chetdavis.com with a note requesting the results. If others contributed and wish to see the results as well, I will simply verify that you were a contributor and email you the results.
Regards,
Chet

Re: Casablanca Survey/Wish-List Results
Chet,
Kudos to you.
As usual you go above and beyond in servicing the community, including for those who do nothing to support you.

My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

Re: Casablanca Survey/Wish-List Results
Well said Tim. I am sure that we all appreciate Chet's enthusiastic and detailed contributions. We have all learned something from him, be it directly from him at meetings, on this BB, or on his web site. He not only helps this community with the existing software and hardware, but now he is helping the company and us by soliciting a user's "wish list". That provides a good "target" for the company.
Thanks for all of your effort Chet.
