Adding Fonts

Post by KimSWilliamson »

Good Morning!

I have the instructions from Chets expert website on how to get fonts into the Renommee, using a flash drive, but I cannot find instructions for actually downloading traditional fonts (i.e- Arial) from my PC onto the flash drive.

Anyone know the steps?

Have a great day, drizzly and cool here in the Hill Country of Texas.

Also, I have found I am getting more calls for jobs from joining a local chamber of commerce. Even got a call from a home manufacturing company in CA that is relocating to this area, and they need a promo video for their website. I also am getting more jobs for making promo videos for clients websites, so I am using www dot yousendit dot com for sending video files to clients. It is free or you can upgrade for high volume sending..

Time to eat some grub whilst I anticipate the instructions, which I am sure will be available when I return!

P.S.- I am also using yousendit dot com to send video to our TV station, where I can deliver news video clips hassle free and fast thru email on yousendit. this is great for news as we are always on a deadline, i can work from home, edit the clips I need for the news and just send it directly to the station and they can get it on air within minutes!

If anyone knows of any other helpful tips for transporting video clips over the internet, I need to know!

Best Regards,

Kim,

Double click on My Computer, then on the Windows folder.

Depending on your PC OS it might have the contents hidden, if so choose Show the Contents.

These files are hidden as messing around with some of them can screw up the working of your PC so don't indiscriminately fumble around in these folders.

Find the folder labeled Fonts and double click on it.

There are all your PC fonts.

You can select individual ones or all of them as you wish and Copy/Paste them to your flash drive.
My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.
