Bingo!

It is not your OS version, it is not your Arabesk version, it is not your burner model.

I'll put money on the problem is using the LTH created blanks, Franklin.

They use a cheaper manufacturing method and the dye medium is different as well.

While the standard Verbatim Blu-ray were more than the LTH blanks I decided to stick with the standard ones after reading compatibility issues with some burners and players.

Even Verbatim cautions on this although they spin it that if your burner/player is a 2009 model or more recent it will "probably" be compatible with this manufacturing/recording method.

Here is the least expensive source for compatible Verbatim blanks:

I'd just set them aside for use once your 202 dies and you have to replace it. LOL

Good catch TIM!!! I think it is time for the forum members to start making a list of cheap Blu-ray discs that will not play or record due to the manufacturer's cost cutting methods which result in incompatibility.

BINGO my firts BR burn arrived !!.. :D new verbatim disc, and was successful !
I use the Sony BDP-S470 Blu-ray player

The quality was good, my expectation was a little more quality on the BR proyect
but coming from DOW CONVERT in the S-PRO the difference is significant.. :?

I forget to de-interlace the wedding, next proyect( IN HDV LONG TIME RENDER) I will
aply the MOVIE effect to see what happens at some scenes people are edged..

Thanks to every body !! and have a nice BLUE RAY weekend !!

I purchased Vinpower Digital 25GB 4X BD-R White Inkjet Printable at Newegg that gets good reviews, but is incompatible with my 202 with the old firmware MSUS is currently supplying for that drive.

The Pioneer site states the current firmware, 108 would make the Vinpower blanks compatible.

PS - I am using the Sony BD460 which is compatible with our editor's burns.
