If the original drive was 20gb you should get around 1.5 hours in full DV. If is was a 40gb this would be around 2.5 hours. With version 1 (and SE2 &3) you can select Analogue which will allow compression and more footage on the HD. If you elect to change the hard drive you might find the bios will only read the size of the original drive. You will need Hard Drive Upgrade software for it to read a larger size. It may have only 64mb RAM. This will also limit the drive size you can use.
