Jim - _IF_ it is activated, Presentation Options will be found in the System Settings Menu, on the upper right side. It is/was included as a standard option for most Casablanca systems. On the AVIO it was (if I remember correctly) an option but your Prestige should have come with it. If it is not installed and you have the original list of activation codes, check to see if it is listed there (the software itself is on the All Software CD).

Re: MAJOR IMPROVEMENT!!!
When the Ren first comes up, there is a box that says "presentation options active". But how do you find it?

Re: MAJOR IMPROVEMENT!!!
I needed more specific direction, but found it in record/playback options. I LOVE not having the counter box in the playback screen. Very good idea to give me a choice.

Re: MAJOR IMPROVEMENT!!!
Oops -- sorry about that less specific direction Jim, I was looking at my Smart Edit unit running SE8 (an older project in process) while advising where to find it .I needed more specific direction, but found it in record/playback options.
Under SE9 and Bogart3 the System Settings menu is completely reorganized and as you share, Presentation Options now appears under the 'Record, Playback' button.

Chet

Re: MAJOR IMPROVEMENT!!!
Okay, thanks. Now about the screen sizes at different frequencies? I see 1024 x 768 at 65, 70 and 75 mhz. What are different frequencies about? That may or may not be showing up in your Bogart options.

Re: MAJOR IMPROVEMENT!!!
The Hz settings are so you can match your output to what the requirements of your monitor are.
My SD VGA monitor instructions say to use 1024 X 768 at 75 Hz. Some will run on different settings and some are made for only one. My HD monitor will go up to 1920 X 1080. In earlier OS's, you needed a monitor that could reproduce 1200 or higher in order to get the multiple lines of clips in the edit window instead of the single line as we had in the past.
One of the improvements that OS 9 gives us is that we can get the multiple line of clips on a lower rez monitor now. My SD monitor set to 1024 X 768 will now yield the multiple lines of clips that it could never see before. Don't forget to use the elevator control on the right side of clips. It allows you to move up and down the rows to see the additional images that are below the screen unless you move the view up or down with this control. You may imagine that you have lost clips, when they are really there all the time but they are below the screen and need to be raised with this elevator control. You can slide it up or down or use the up and down arrows which are right at the bottom of the vertical slider.

Re: MAJOR IMPROVEMENT!!!
Thanks, Jim. Yeah, my monitor does 1024 x 768, and shows multiple lines, too. Good thing.
