Destructive reinstall of 3.6d

Post by Bonnie »

Hi all,

I have just completed a reinstall of 3.6d. I have reactivated all other software with no problem (all show as active). I attempted to load some video footage. "No signal" stayed on and the null sign flashed over the record button whenever I clicked on record. I went back to check the settings. They are as follows: System = Trackball/normal; video output/CVBS; Screen/video. Project settings = Image/normal; Format/4:3; Audio quality/DV48. Video settings = Input/DV. I tried it with the camera on first and then firing up the AVIO. I had the AVIO on first and then the camera. I tried different tapes. The camera is a panasonic. It seems that in the distant past there was something about having to restall Arabesk twice after an OS reinstall. Or reinstall the OS twice. I'm not sure. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Good to hear you figured it out Bonnie.

I didn't even see this one last night for some reason.
My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.
