file to big for one DVD
I am presently downloading a MS add-on with lots of maps. Its 1.4 gigs! How do you load onto a DVD something beyond its capacity? Is there a DVD that can take this? I understand that if I buy this, I have to pay to get a key # to load in, so it works in something other than demo mode. But, how do you load this big a file to a DVD? I don't have one that big!

Hello Jim,
Actually a DVD (standard DVD-R) has the capacity to hold 4.7 GB of data, while a CD (CD-R) holds only 700 MB. You should be able to burn the Casablanca Maps software easily onto a DVD, just remember for the disk to be read in your Casablanca as software it must be an ISO image file/s.
You can also order (I believe for a nominal fee) the software disk from MacroSystem US with these products on them already.
Regards,
Chet
