Re: flash drive
Sorry, but the Ren only takes video in its CVBS, S-video and disc inputs. Its not new enough to do any better. I haven't even been able to get photos in thru the USB's, although I am told some have. Chet loaded in some TrueType fonts at Dallas, but that's about all I have imported thru the back. Sorry. Its why I'm hoping the grand prize at MGT is a 6K, so I can win it.

Re: flash drive
Is there a way to put the video in my PC and burn a dvd to get it in? I have a customer that wants to bring me a flash drive ti edit the video. I suppose I could get his camera and use the video out to capture the video although the quality probably won't be as good Any suggestions? Buying another editor right now is not an option, I have to get a loan to pay attention. Bob....

Re: flash drive
Just plug the flash drive into your PC and copy/paste or drag/drop the video files where ever you want on your PC.
Whether you can play them, burn them to a DVD will depend on what format they were shot in and what you have in the way of software on your PC, but it is definitely do-able.
There is tons of conversion and editing software on the PC, both free and purchasable to do this with essentially any format now a days.

My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.

Re: flash drive
flash drive... hello everyone.... can someone tell me how to export still scenes from the Bogart S4100 on to a flash drive?
Here is what I did,, I connected the Kingston usb to the back of the Bogart S4100, turned on the unit, went to archives, clicked on export scene, selected scene from project, exported scenes loaded, export successfully completed.
UPON checking the usb on my PC, the scene(s) are not there.
Any suggestions
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Prem

Re: flash drive
Hello Prem,
To export an image from your Casablanca you would need to use the Photo Transfer software (add-on Casablanca software) - details here: Casablanca Photo Transfer.
If you're using this with recent OS, many have found they have best success in a single-monitor mode (not single monitor VGA and not dual-monitor mode)
Regards,
Chet
