Motion Box

Post by flvideo »

I had a couple clients bring to my attention yeaterday that video that had been on motion box was no longer available. Did HP just delete all the old clips that were on the Motion Box site? I went on the new Snapfish site and I can't see where there is any mention of older video's that were on Motion Box. Has anyone had experience with this? Thanks Bob...

Hello,

Yeah, none of the old clips are available on Motion box since they changed hands. Now you can sign up and spend money. So we all switched to Vimeo. Great free service and very good quality.

As Jim pointed out Bob, yes - with the acquisition of Motionbox by Snapfish (who is owned by HP) the videos on Motionbox are no more. Channel owners did receive advance notice of this change and some of us who used Motionbox moved over to SproutVideo (http://www.sproutvideo.com/) . This is the provider I now use to host my webinars and longer videos.
Vimeo (http://vimeo.com) is a good provider and if you are looking for a free host, you should also consider ExposureRoom (http://exposureroom.com/)
