Exporting with Time Code

Post by MichaelD »

Not sure if this is a feature . . . or not, but I like it ;)

If you apply Time Code or Date or Logo to your project in the Finish menu and then go back to Project and then to Back-Up, sending the file to an external USB, then the file you send out will have the Time Code (or Date or Logo) embedded in it, useful for proofing footage with a client etc.

I say I'm not sure if it's a feature as this only appears to work with HD projects - probably something to do with the way Bogart v4 backs up HD and SD differently
Also the Back-Up button in the Finish menu (B v4.1g) doesn't appear to help either

Michael,

Yes, this is a great feature of Bogart. I use it all the time. It use to be you had to output via anologue only to acheive this, but now you can do it via firewire, & to flash drives. Very good feature.
