TIP FOR SAVING-Re-writable discs and ARABESK

Post by LouBruno »

Here is a tip for a BD-RE and DVD-RW issue:

If for some reason a BD-RE or DVD-RW is used in ARABESK and will not be allowed to be OVERWRITTEN, go into a very short 10 second project and SAVE your storyboard in HDV to that disc.

THEN.....go to ARABESK once more and OVERWRITE that BD-RE disc and if a DVD-RW, use the ERASE function.

Many procedures can cause the rewritable discs to fail in ARABESK, during the RENDERING process.

It is this disruption of the rendering process in ARABESK that effects the use of the BD-RE disc.

Situations like CANCELLING or powering down during the rendering process are an example. Don't throw the disc out, this fix works not only with BD-RE but regular DVD-RW discs as well.

Another tip for DVD-RW disc that won't erase in Arabesk that works for me is to use Windows erase feature in my PC so far works every time (touch wood)
