HD Camcorder
I just got an inexpensive Canon HD Camcorder that I can connect to my Solitaire using AV cords. When I use this transfer method, am I getting HD or SD delivered to my editor. Will I be able to auto split using this method.

You will be getting SD, and you can only auto split if you use firewire.
