Disappearing transitions

Having recently finished a project, and before starting a new big one, I de-installed and re-installed the software on my Solitaire. This seemed to have gone according to plan, and I’ve now loaded a great deal of footage into the scene bin and started editing.
And now I notice that some of the transition effects that I used to have are not there. Specifically, the rather fancy ‘Zl’ effects (ripples, and spheres, etc) have disappeared. The Page Turn effect is there, but not the others. I know that I have never specifically purchased these effects – I always assumed that they came with the operating system. Any ideas on how I can get them back?

Hi Graham,

Have you checked "Install Products" in System Settings to see if 3D Shapes is installed?
After an installation all add on software is removed so you might need to add your other software as well; Arabesk 4, PhotoStudio 2, Motion Pefect, PiPStudio 3D,Candy Factory, SteadyHand.

If you have got these on the machine but they are still not showing then check the drop down box, under all your listed transitions. is set to "All" and not default etc.

Ah yes, 3-D shapes, of course. Thank you so much, Michael - I think I must have had my head in a very dark place when I re-installed. Now it works, and I've got my ripples back!
By the way, do you know whether it is Z1 or ZL? This is of no consequence, but I've always been curious.

Actually it is "ZI". And this stands for the company who developed those effects, if I remember that one correctly.

The 3D Shapes and the page turn effect has been created by a company called "Impulse inc.".
